I have a babygate across my bedroom doorway. It's mainly to keep the bunnies IN (there's cables and things in the rest of the flat) but recently it's also been useful for keeping Kota both IN and OUT.

Until today.

Today I shut Kota in my room and went to move things between washing machine and tumble dryer (Kota has a habit of running away with and chewing holes in my laundry). And I heard a loud *THUNK!*

And a very pleased Border Collie puppy walked into the kitchen with his tail held high.

I walked out into the hallway. Babygate still firmly attached. I shut puppy back in the bedroom, moved up the hallway and waited.

Puppy backed up, took a running jump, landed on top of the gate and scrambled over, landing on the other side with a *THUNK!* and a grin.

*sigh*

It doesn't really matter. It's not like I regularly use it to keep him shut in or out, it was just handy when I could.

And now I'm actually going to have to remember not to just hop over the top and leave him on the other side because it can't be good for him scrambling over and hitting the ground like that.

Because it's kind of related (read: because it's cute) have a video of Sparky playing Indoor-Babygate-Agility-Frisbee!
